Lake Forest, California — On Saturday, May 18th, the Camisasca Automotive Mfg. team hosted the first of what will become a series of Cars & Coffee meet-ups to be held at our Lake Forest, California facilities.
The inaugural event drew local connoisseurs and enthusiasts from across Southern California for a fun-filled, two hour gathering.
Colin Camisasca, car enthusiast and Vice President of CAM, was humbled by the opportunity to bring his passion to the community:
The entire CAM Family is thankful for the friendly and active car culture which drives the automotive industry, particularly here in Southern California.
It is an absolute pleasure to open our doors and host a grass roots event right here at the factory. We hope to not only share a bit of our own infectious enthusiasm, but provide a casual venue for others to share their passion.
Many were also amazed to learn about the unique manufacturing and distribution services we provide right here in their own backyard. It is our hope this event will become a fixture of the community and something our neighbors look forward to attending.
The CAM collection was also open for display, including a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB Short Nose and a 1955 Austin Healey BN1 100/4 LeMans.
Spectators and exhibitors enjoyed breakfast bites and coffee from Corner Bakery while checking out the show. Howard from Long Beach, who was enjoying the meet-up as a spectator, put it best:
First off, it's a beautiful California day. It's fun to be out here and see people bringing their pride and joy. There are some really nice cars to look at from guys who love cars.
Daniel from Costa Mesa, whose BMW M Coupe was on display, says:
I didn't want to miss the first one. There's a good mix of vintage, original classic and some modern cars. The cars inside are beautiful and people are very friendly as well.
