McLaren Port Inclusion Slimline License Plate Frame
Fast forward to early 2023, and new collaboration efforts have led to further expansion of this program. To complement McLaren’s quality mounting bracket, we have now added a custom black powder coated 304 stainless steel slimline frame with precision laser etched “McLaren” graphic as the subtle finishing touch to any vehicle. And perhaps even more unique, we have developed a commemorative vehicle badge denoting each vehicle’s US delivery origin via celebration of the brand's deep running success in historic Can-Am Series. The latter badge uses a proprietary metal photo process on aluminum to capture exquisite detail down to the ubiquitous Kiwi bird, all protected beneath a UV resistant crystal clear polyurethane dome.

Both new items along with the bracket began making their appearance on US delivered vehicles as early as Q2 2023. Included as part of the vehicle delivery package by means of port preload, both items serve to generate a steady profit center for the low production manufacturer, while also providing a more complete vehicle delivery package for their discerning clientele.
Particularly at the exclusive manufacturer level, Original Equipment details such as these sourced from Camisasca can and do make all the difference adding an air of quality and attention to detail at every touch point. The badge is secured via 3M Adhesive within the “frunk”, while the subtle frame can - you guessed it - be viewed on the rear. Of course, assuming you can catch a glimpse of it as it pulls away from you on the highway.

Presently, CAMI’s internal development team is engaged with the McLaren Engineering team making revision changes to the rear mounting bracket in order to maintain universal model application by accommodating updates made on the new Artura model. We thank McLaren for the opportunity to continue our relationship and are grateful to the trust they place in our organization - of course we will never tire of test fitting their press vehicles on site, and housing their impressive hardware if even for a moment.
